The Spanish Association for quality acoustics (AECOR) will speak at the International Congress of rehabilitation and sustainability 2010, which will be organized by the Colegio de Aparejadores de Barcelona between days 4 and 6 October and will be held at the Palacio de Congresos de Barcelona. The event will have as theme the future is possible (R + S = F). The acoustic quality is a fundamental part of the work areas dedicated to the habitability of buildings and, therefore, AECOR has been chosen as responsible for developing this block devoted to performances by improvement in the rehabilitation of buildings, through its adaptation to the acoustic requirements of the DB-HR and, to the extent possible, to the follow-up of the recommendations aimed at better acoustic quality. AECOR will expose in detail the current situation of the sector, developing the application of the DB-HR within the current framework of rehabilitation. This framework is applicable to adaptation and comprehensive rehabilitation, i.e. is restricted as stipulated in the adjustments structural or functional and the change of use of the property. The Association will also defend its commitment to inform and clarify the end-user enhancements and requirements have been met in the work of rehabilitation. This Congress, which has its origin in the signing of the manifest the challenge of rehabilitation, represents a great forum for the debate on the future of the construction sector focused on claims of a housing policy, serving the needs of today’s society and a European model based on rehabilitation and sustainability-oriented..
